I made it out today in the wind, sleet, and snow relishing the occasional patch of sunlight. The fish were willing and eager to hit bead head princes making for a fun day on the water. Another three species day, with rainbow, brown, and brook trout all coming to hand. On my way back to the vehicle and on the driving out there were hundreds of mountain bluebirds congregated in a field near where I parked. I have never seen so many bluebirds grouped together like this and they were working the field for insects.
